UK Lawyers Say Ban on Settlement Goods Is Not Enough

More than 130 lawyers, including 18 senior lawyers for the king, wrote to Prime Minister Andy Burnham that Britain's ban on goods from Israeli settlements is too weak. The ban, announced 8 September by Ed Miliband, Britain's foreign minister, they say, ignores what a 2024 World Court decision, like a referee's ruling, requires now that the occupation is ruled unlawful.
