130+ UK legal experts say settlement sanctions fall short of ICJ obligations

More than 130 legal experts, including 18 king's counsel, wrote to Prime Minister Andy Burnham arguing Britain's announced import ban on goods from Israeli settlements falls far short of obligations under the ICJ's 2024 advisory opinion deeming the occupation unlawful. The ban was announced by Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband on 8 September.
