Sanders, Casar Plan Bill to Block Very Powerful AI

Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vermont, and Rep. Greg Casar plan to introduce a bill to ban future AI that could outthink people, like a machine that beats humans at almost any job, and pause work on powerful AI for a time, according to a Sept. 3 release from Sanders' Senate office.
