Volvo's updated XC60 and XC90 go 78 and 73 miles on electricity
Volvo has updated its XC60 and XC90 plug-in hybrids, which run on electricity before using gas. Early US testing shows 78 and 73 miles on electricity alone. Both use a bigger battery under the floor storing 41.2 units of energy, with 37.9 usable, more than double before. Volvo says that would lead US plug-in hybrids if confirmed.
