Labour can't promise to bring back full KiwiSaver bonus

Labour leader Chris Hipkins says Labour cannot promise to bring back the full Government bonus for KiwiSaver, the retirement savings scheme. The Budget in 2025 cut that yearly top-up from $521 to $260, according to RNZ. Hipkins told RNZ Morning Report any new government faces money pressure. Labour's plan does not promise to restore it.
