No charges after assault at youth justice home

Police have closed their inquiry into a March assault called ‘walking the line’ at Korowai Manaaki, a home for young people in the justice system, with no charges. The children's agency Oranga Tamariki said police found no crime by the young person or staff involved. It said staff were there when a young person leaving was slapped and hit.
