Police close Korowai Manaaki assault case with no charges

Police have closed their investigation into the March 'walking the line' assault at Korowai Manaaki youth justice residence with no charges. Oranga Tamariki confirmed police found 'no evidence of criminal offending by either the rangatahi involved or the kaimahi'. Staff were present when a young person was slapped and hit on discharge, the agency said.
