Women Seeking Safety in Britain Say Hotel Staff Attacked Them

Three women who came to Britain seeking safety told the Guardian, in interviews published Sept. 13, 2026, that British hotel workers and guards sexually assaulted them. An Iranian woman near Heathrow said a guard raped her. They said they did not call police fearing it could hurt their request to stay. All three were later allowed to stay as refugees.
