Trump Wants Giant Washington Statue by Sept. 17

President Donald Trump asked the Smithsonian to put a 30-foot statue of George Washington, named Colossus, outside the National Museum of American History by September 17, known as Constitution Day. It would replace the Infinity sculpture from 1967. The Smithsonian is independent and is not part of the president's government branch.
