Snap Launches AR Glasses at $2,195, Betting Eyewear Will Be Our Next Computer

Snap introduced SPECS, glasses that display digital information directly in front of your eyes, on June 16. The $2,195 device packs a computer, display, and wireless connection into an ordinary-looking frame. It's the first real attempt since Google Glass to make wearable eyewear powerful enough to be a standalone computer rather than an accessory to a phone.
