Man Arrested After Mother Found Dead in Jackson

Jackson police arrested 51-year-old Jarques Ratliff Friday, formally accusing him of killing 29-year-old Tasia Fortune. Fortune, a Black mother of four, was found hanging from a tree Aug. 3 in the backyard of an empty Jackson house. Police say Ratliff, who is Black, knew Fortune.
