Labour won't rule out Greens' government-run supermarket idea
Labour MP Vanushi Walters hasn't ruled out the Greens' idea for a government-run supermarket chain called KiwiMart. The Greens want to make the two big supermarket companies, Foodstuffs and Woolworths, sell 120 stores and two warehouses to the public for about $2.8 billion. Walters said Labour will release its own plan soon. National's Nicola Willis called it "Soviet-style nationalisation."
