Google says new EU search rules will make results worse than ever

Google said September 8 that changes to its European search results, required after an €890 million July fine, will cause the biggest quality drop in the search engine's history. The changes remove live price details from travel and local results and give more space to rival search services, which Google still ranks. EU regulators have not confirmed the changes meet their rules.
