BBC Video Connects 9/11 Suspect to Saudi Officials and al-Qaeda

A BBC report published September 7, 2026, released video footage allegedly showing Omar al-Bayoumi — a Saudi citizen long suspected of helping two 9/11 hijackers — had close ties to Saudi government officials and played paintball with a future al-Qaeda leader. The footage challenges 25 years of his denials that he was an extremist or Saudi spy. Al-Bayoumi, Saudi Arabia, and the FBI all declined to comment.
