New Boox E-Reader Has No Built-In Storage

Boox's Picco, a tiny 3.97-inch e-reader arriving at IFA 2026 in Berlin for about $100 this November, ships with no internal storage at all. You must supply your own microSD card to hold any books. Without one, the device simply won't work — an unusual cost-cutting choice for a small e-reader.
