Queen Margrethe to miss King Harald V's funeral after hospital admission

The Danish Royal Court announced on 6 September that Queen Margrethe II, 86, is hospitalised at Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen with a new blood clot in her hip region and mild dehydration, both being treated. She will not attend King Harald V of Norway's funeral in Oslo on 9 September. The court said she is "in good spirits" and, "given the circumstances… doing well."
