Hundreds Dead, 1,400 Missing After Floods in Nepal — Australians Among Them

On August 26, a massive wall of snow and water swept through Nepal's Rasuwa District, killing nearly 400 people. About 1,400 are still missing, including at least 39 Australians traveling to sacred Mount Kailash. The tour company leading 15 Australians has heard nothing from its group. Its founder flew over the area and said he sees little chance anyone survived.
