London Bus Drivers Go Back on Strike Over Hot Cabs

About 1,500 north London bus drivers are back on strike for four days. Drivers at three of eight bus garages voted down a deal their union had made with the company. They don't believe all 730 buses will get air-conditioning by summer 2027. More strikes are planned this fall. Driver cabs hit 40C during 2026's five heatwaves.
