Under-16 social media ban: government needs Labour's help to keep it alive

The government wants to ban social media for under-16s, but two of its own partners — ACT and NZ First — won't back the plan. That means National needs Labour's support to get the bill through its first vote in Parliament. Labour hasn't said yes yet, and wants answers on privacy, how children were consulted, and how the ban would actually work.
