Leaked Apple Software Reveals Camera AirPods Details

Code in an early macOS Tahoe 26.7 build reveals Apple's camera-equipped AirPods in detail. Each earbud has a small color camera that takes still photos up to 1 megapixel. Motion sensors keep the two earbuds' photos in sync despite head movement. Processing happens on the device itself. The system takes occasional still photos for a feature called Visual Intelligence — not video — and throws out blurry or blocked shots.
