Tesla Plans August Launch of a Car With No Steering Wheel or Pedals in Austin

Tesla has told employees to prepare for an August launch of its Cybercab in Austin. The vehicle has no pedals or steering wheel, so a person cannot take over. Crowdsourced data showed all 170 monitored Austin robotaxi rides over two weeks were unsupervised, though earlier rides reportedly had remote human drivers.
