Calendly's New AI Assistant Listens to Your Meetings and Writes Follow-Up Emails

Calendly launched an AI tool on August 19, 2026, that joins your video calls on Zoom, Google Meet, and other apps. It records the call, writes down what was said, and then creates a summary, a list of tasks, and draft follow-up emails. CEO Tope Awotona said most rival tools only transcribe. Participants get a chat notification when recording starts.
