Microsoft's Office Software Can Now Complete Tasks on Its Own

Microsoft has upgraded its Copilot AI assistant to work across Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams without asking for approval at each step. The tool can now finish multi-step jobs—like pulling data from one app and creating a document in another—on its own. The feature rolls out starting late 2024.
