Rivian's R2 Electric Car Is Now Available to Order

Rivian began taking orders for its R2 electric car on June 9, 2026. The base model costs $57,990 and will ship in Spring 2026. Production started in April at a plant in Illinois. Less expensive versions will arrive later. Rivian is prioritizing existing customers before opening sales more widely.
