Prime Minister changes his mind on assisted dying vote

Prime Minister Andy Burnham will no longer personally support a proposed law on assisted dying, the BBC reported. He had earlier said he would "probably" vote for it. The bill applies to England and Wales only, and MPs will hold their first vote on it on 11 September. The government itself will not take a side, following the usual rule for laws proposed by individual MPs rather than by ministers.
