
Texas Police Officer Arrested in Mexico on Femicide and Triple-Homicide Charges After Custody Dispute Shooting
Chad Eberle, a 35-year-old reserve officer from Santa Anna, Texas, was arrested August 4 at a Piedras Negras border crossing after allegedly killing three people and critically wounding his son's mother during a custody dispute in Saltillo, Coahuila. Mexican authorities charged him with femicide and qualified homicide. He may face up to five crimes. His son was unharmed and placed in state care.
