Former US Marine Held in Russia Near Death After 47 Days Unresponsive

Robert Gilman, a 32-year-old former US Marine detained in Russia since 2022, has been unresponsive in a "dissociative stupor" for 47 days at a Russian hospital, his advocate Eric Lebson reports. Advocacy groups say he is near death following alleged torture and involuntary drug injections in custody. Russian authorities have not publicly addressed the mistreatment claims.
