Brazil accuses 16 Voepass employees, including airline owner, over 2024 crash that killed 62

Brazilian federal police formally accused 16 current and former Voepass employees, including owner and president Jose Luiz Felicio Filho, over the August 2024 ATR 72-500 crash in Vinhedo that killed all 62 people on board. Fifteen face charges of endangering air traffic safety resulting in a fatal disaster, carrying up to 12 years per count. Some also face logbook-omission charges.
