NPS Finds Trump's Proposed 250-Foot Arch Would Adversely Affect 37 Historic Properties
A National Park Service assessment found that 37 historic properties would be adversely affected by the proposed 250-foot United States Triumphal Arch at Memorial Circle, near the National Mall. The Section 106 review under the National Historic Preservation Act cites interference with the viewshed between the Lincoln Memorial and Arlington House, Robert E. Lee's former home.
