Moscow Bomb May Have Used Unwitting Courier, Detonated Remotely

A homemade bomb killed three and wounded at least 21 outside Moscow's Balzi Rossi restaurant on August 1, 2026. Kommersant, citing its own sources, reported the device was detonated remotely by another party and that the woman carrying it may not have known she was transporting an explosive. Russian authorities have not confirmed those claims or named any suspect.
