Reform's Jenrick tells Burnham to rule out social care 'death tax'

Reform UK Treasury spokesman Robert Jenrick urged Prime Minister Andy Burnham to rule out a "death tax" for adult social care in England, proposing cuts to foreign aid and migrant benefit payments instead. The label was last used against Burnham as health secretary under Gordon Brown. Burnham has not proposed such a levy and said he wants to use existing budgets "before we talk about tax rises."
