YC S26 Startup Atomarine Proposes Floating Data-Center Barges With Onboard Power for AI Compute

Y Combinator S26 company Atomarine plans standardized floating platforms, each carrying 75–100 MW of AI compute, powered by onboard natural-gas turbines and cooled by seawater. The company claims 1.5 GW of annual deployment capacity — 4–5× faster than on-land data centers. Platforms are shipyard-built, towed to site, and moored alongside predecessors to scale.
