ACT pledges to more than double Pharmac's share of health spending to 12% by 2033

ACT leader David Seymour has pledged to lift Pharmac's budget from 4.9 percent of total health spend to 12 percent by 2033, reaching between $5.4 billion and $6.1 billion by 2033/34. Seymour said other health areas would miss out but nothing existing would be cut. Pharmac would remain "hard-ass negotiators," he said.
