Craneware breach: 147M patient records in question after data exfiltration

Craneware, which serves thousands of U.S. hospitals and pharmacies, disclosed on July 20, 2026 that hackers exfiltrated a "significant volume" of data. Craneware has not confirmed whether any patient records were among the stolen data. Shares closed over 7% down.
