Twenty Children Killed in Uganda School Bus Crash Near Sipi Falls

A bus from King David Junior School Ndejje, returning to Kampala from a field trip to Sipi Falls, crashed in Kapchorwa district on July 16, 2026, killing twenty schoolchildren and one adult believed to be the school's founder. Police say the driver lost control and struck a large stone. Over 28 injured children remain hospitalized, nine critically.
