Vistra Has Hedged About 94% of Its 2027 Power Output, Up From 70%

Vistra reported in its Q2 2026 results (Aug. 7, 2026) that about 94% of expected 2027 generation was hedged, up from about 70% in its Q3 2025 results. Its 2026 output was about 100% hedged. Hedges lock in prices, limiting exposure to weaker ERCOT power prices but capping gains if prices rise. Vistra plans to report Q3 2026 results Nov. 6.
