Google Opens Connected Apps Platform in Beta to U.S. Developers

Google has launched a Connected Apps Platform in beta and public preview for U.S. developers who sign up for a waitlist. Businesses link their apps to AI experiences in Search and Gemini through a cloud-hosted MCP server or Android AppFunctions APIs, then register, test and submit apps via Google Connected Console. Developers choose Search, Gemini, or both.
