Lawyers seek release for ICE shooting victim detained with bullet in neck

The Legal Aid Society has petitioned a Brooklyn federal court for Oscar Belgal's release, saying the 28-year-old Dominican man shot by ICE remains detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center with a bullet lodged in his neck. Lawyers say he has not received surgery and has lost sensation on the left side of his face with impaired hearing.
