NYC Mayor and Council Speaker Agree to Ban Horse Carriages by June 2028

Mayor Zohran Mamdani and Council Speaker Julie Menin reached a deal to prohibit horse-drawn carriages in New York City from June 1, 2028. The City Council is expected to vote next week.
