Iran sentences 23-year-old student to death for blasphemy post
Najmeh Amini, 23, an accounting student held in Vakilabad Prison in Mashhad, has been sentenced to death for "sab ol-nabi" — insulting the Prophet Muhammad — over a social-media post. She says she posted while hallucinating on psychedelic mushrooms. The sentence can be appealed to Iran's supreme court.
