Federal agents search Rep. Ilhan Omar's home in criminal probe
Federal agents searched Rep. Ilhan Omar's Washington, DC-area home early Oct. 12 under what the Justice Department called a "judicially authorised search warrant" in a criminal investigation. Omar said she won't "be silenced", describing it as an attempt to "weaponise federal law enforcement" and "an attempt to target political enemies". She seeks a fifth term before Nov. 3 midterms.
