Giraffe Bio develops biomolecules to lift copper recovery by up to 5%

Giraffe Bio develops mineral-specific biomolecules designed to help mines recover up to 5% more copper. The compounds are produced by engineered microbes in bioreactors and dosed into existing flotation circuits to improve separation. The focus is copper demand from AI data centers and electrification.
