Two merchant ships hit by drones off Bulgaria, one sunk, 11 missing

Two merchant ships were struck by drones off Bulgaria's Black Sea coast on 13 October 2026, Prime Minister Rumen Radev said. One sank 17 nautical miles east of Krapets, leaving 11 sailors missing with one rescued. The second, Ukrainian-owned, was hit 18 nautical miles from Byala; all 15 crew were rescued.
