Drone strikes hit two ships off Bulgaria, one sunk

Two merchant ships were hit by drones off Bulgaria's Black Sea coast on 13 October 2026, Prime Minister Rumen Radev said. One sank 17 nautical miles (about 31km) east of Krapets, with 11 sailors missing and one rescued. The second, Ukrainian-owned, was struck 18 nautical miles (about 33km) from Byala; all 15 crew were rescued.
