Government rejects aluminium extrusion bid for import protection

Commerce Minister Cameron Brewer has declined the aluminium extrusion industry's application for temporary safeguard protection against increased imports, according to RNZ. The decision followed an MBIE investigation which found the threshold for a safeguard had not been met.
