Verge testing finds Googlebooks phone file sharing flat-out broken

The Verge reports in its Oct. 12 review that phone file sharing on Asus and HP Googlebooks is flat-out broken. Both laptops require same Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, drop the phone link on network roam, and need a restart to restore. Pairing needed cross-device toggles and multiple restarts, with inconsistent results across Oppo, Vivo and Pixel phones.
