Ex-Plaud Executive Raises $26M for Background-Listening AI App Ambi

Ambi co-founder and CEO Peter Mo, a former Plaud executive, has raised $26 million across multiple rounds led by Luminous Ventures and Huaqin to build an AI app with optional background listening. Ambi is releasing Apple-only software alongside the financing disclosure, with retrieval-based meeting assistance using calendar, knowledge base and web data.
