Banijay signals possible move into US scripted television

Banijay may enter US scripted television, meaning dramas and comedies, CEO Marco Bassetti said at Mipcom Cannes on 12 October, per Variety. The company has never operated in US scripted. Bassetti said entry needs the right people, IP and investment. Chair Jeff Zucker said expansion is something to examine in years ahead.
