Sen. Roger Marshall Pays $1,300 to Settle Six-Year-Old Bakery Bill

Kansas Republican Sen. Roger Marshall paid Hutchinson bakery Holly's Sweet Treats $1,300, double the $678.75 owed for a 2020 primary watch party order unpaid for six years. Payment followed owner Holly Thomas's viral Oct. 8 post. Marshall, facing re-election, said he had no idea how it happened and tried to apologize.
