Mother sought maximum sentence before Mexico surf-murder verdict

Debra Robinson, mother of Australian brothers Jake and Callum Robinson, asked before the Oct. 9 verdict in Ensenada for the maximum sentence for the three men accused of killing her sons and American friend Carter Redd Rhoad in 2024. A Mexican judge found the men guilty; sentencing follows separately.
